July 1st, 2013 - Munich
July 2nd, 2013 - Duesseldorf, Cologne
Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking is delighted to invite you to their "In the Mood for Loans" research presentations in Munich, Duesseldorf and Cologne.
Following the recent publication of our flagship report "In the Mood for Loans", our expert Mr. Philippe Ferreira will share with you one of his key convictions for the years to come: the role - and investment opportunities - for asset managers in financing the real economy. The asset management industry is actually about to experience another shake-up, as the investment universe expands to include new asset classes that involve direct loans to the economy.
This presentation provides an insight into a new world of unlisted assets. Just as there is a market for private equity (unlisted shares), a market for private bonds and loans is developing as a result of the current large-scale disintermediation process. The presentation will cover issues arising from macroeconomic disintermediation in the US and Europe, and will also take a microeconomic view by looking at following specific asset classes within the universe of loans:
